Week 11
Kia Ora Kākano Whānau, We have made it to the last week of term!! Last year, term one wasn’t so successful, as we had gone into lockdown after only 8 weeks. It has been a great term. All of the classes have settled well with their new teachers and we, the teachers, have loved getting to know all of the children and families. Thank you for your support during this term with various school and classroom events. Take a look at some of the photos from last week: We were lucky to Senior Constable Regan in to talk to the children about safety in the car. He talked about having the correct car seats in for the children as well as the importance of ALWAYS wearing your seatbelt. It is always great to have these community leaders come in and see the children for a casual chat so that the children know that these people are out there to help us. On Wednesday, some children will be selected to go to a Principal’s morning tea. There are only 3 children per class chosen each term. It is ...
