Mid Week 9

 What a busy week we have had. It has been great having such amazing weather so we can be outside.  The children have enjoyed building huts, fixing the outside chicken coop, water play, and updating the gardens.






We have also done some amazing learning.  The children are really focused during phonics and all working hard.




This week your child will have brought home a form inviting you to provide some input into your child's class placement for 2022. These forms are optional to complete and are due back by Friday 1 October. Due to Covid Level 2, we suggest the forms be returned via the Class Teacher.


Our younger students tend to move with many of their current classmates when placed into classes for the next school year. Children are generally classed as Year 0 if they commenced school after 1 April this year, and Year 1 if they commenced school between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2021. Students who are currently in Year 0 will be in Year 1 next year.

Week 11

  Kia Ora Kākano Whānau,  We have made it to the last week of term!! Last year, term one wasn’t so successful, as we had gone into lockdown after only 8 weeks. It has been a great term. All of the classes have settled well with their new teachers and we, the teachers, have loved getting to know all of the children and families. Thank you for your support during this term with various school and classroom events. Take a look at some of the photos from last week: We were lucky to Senior Constable Regan in to talk to the children about safety in the car. He talked about having the correct car seats in for the children as well as the importance of ALWAYS wearing your seatbelt. It is always great to have these community leaders come in and see the children for a casual chat so that the children know that these people are out there to help us. Week 10

  Kia Ora e te Whanau,   We hope you have had an awesome weekend enjoying the sunshine and possibly looking out for our Matariki Stars in the early hours of the morning.   We are so close to the end of term and only have 4 more school days left! How did time fly so quickly. This week children need to be at school from Monday – Thursday as Friday is a Teachers Only Day.
