Morning Jobs: Please remember parents it is important for the children to carry their own school bags, mark their roll and put their Bookbag in the right box on their own. It is great to see our tamariki becoming more independent each day. Uniform: This term we change to the winter school uniform, Please make sure everything is named. Also please provide shoes that the children can independently put on, if you have purchased shoes with laces please teach them how to tie these at home. Welcome to week 6 of Term 1. This week we move back to Level 1 which means parents are allowed back into our classrooms. We are so proud of the way the children are able to manage themselves each day as they do their morning jobs. You can support your child to become independent by encouraging them to carry their own school bag and to complete their morning routines. It is still important if your child is sick that they do not attend school. Snotty noses, coughs and tummy bugs have been doing the rounds. Please keep your child at home if they are unwell! The First Aiders are fundraising this week and will have ice blocks for sale Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If your child would like to purchase an ice block they can bring $1 to school.
